Puerto Natales (21/23-Apr)

As I wanted to catch the last bus going from El Calafate to Bariloche via the famous Ruta 40 before they close it for winter, I had to hurry to leave Ushuaia... I joined a couple from New Zealand and we took the bus to Puerto Natales. And after a long bus trip on the Tierra del Fuego bumpy roads we arrived in the evening in Puerto Natales and stayed in a nice hostal.

And after a long bus trip on the Tierra del Fuego bumpy roads we arrived in the evening in Puerto Natales and stayed in a nice hostal. Next morning I woke up early and joined a tour bus to visit the national park of Torres del Paine... Sadly the weather was not so nice, kind of cloudy and rainy later (I should add cold also :P)... but I really liked the place. The landscapes were really magnificient, it felt like being in one of those old cowboys movies with John Wayne except that in those movies you did not see any guanacos (lamas) :P. We saw some great lakes and could even see some icebergs coming from Glacier Grey... which we regretfully could not see properly because of the clouds and rain... though this was a nice day even if the weather was not so great. I believe I would love to do a long ride on a horse in this national park.... it's really so great, but I guess it's forbidden :D.
