Lima (31-May/4-Jun)

After visiting the cities of the Incas, I took a night bus (again...) to Lima, capital of the Spaniards.

In Lima, I stayed in a nice district - should I say very touristic - called Miraflores. The nice thing there is that - contrarily to almost everywhere in south america - you can go out at night. The reason is that there are only tourists there... and policemen :P From a touristic point of view, the city itself was not really interesting. I mean that the historical part is nice but not so different than other colonial towns out there. Still I really enjoyed staying in Lima, seeing some friends, eating other kinds of foods, going to cinema (I went to see 3 movies in 4 days!)... I guess I could have easily stayed more there, enjoying the easy life :)... but had to continue my trip north. I therefore took a bus going north to the city of Piura, spent one day there before crossing to Ecuador.
